Thirty years gone by so rapidly, it seems. I was working in Grand Rapids, Michigan and my morning show had just ended. A group of us - deejays, sales people, managers - gathered in the conference room to watch the Challenger launch. It was a program - just like the entire US march into space - with a history of magnificent success. And that's what made that tragic event of three decades ago even more difficult to accept...much less watch again.
