Pregnant Chimp Haven Chimpanzee Close to Giving Birth

You might remember hearing the news back around Valentine’s Day, when a surprise baby chimp was born at the Keithville sanctuary in Caddo Parish, that another chimpanzee was pregnant. I found out from Chimp Haven Director, Dr. Linda Brent, how Ginger is doing now.

Dr. Brent has also discussed how some male chimpanzees have overcome previous vassectomies. One of them was “chimp daddy” Conan, who was sterilized twice, and still impregnated two females.
