It was a scary late afternoon and early evening for some folks in the Greenwood area. Brooke Hightower is a waitress in the restaurant at the Relay Station. She says her father called her and told her to take shelter because he could see a tornado near Highway-79. She says she went outside and saw it, then ran back inside and told others. They made sure that everyone stayed inside and sought shelter. Brooke says the funnel eventually pulled back up into the parent cloud. There have been no confirmations that the funnel touched down and no reports of damage or injuries.
