Bossier police have cleared up a crash in the 3200 block of Barksdale Boulevard.

All lanes of traffic are now flowing again. The crash happened just after 5:20.
Witnesses tell Bossier police a Toyota Camry was headed south on Barksdale when it crossed into the northbound lanes and hit a Chevrolet Traverse nearly head on.

Here's more info from Bossier PD:

Bossier City Fire Department personnel had to extricate driver of the Camry out of the vehicle. She was taken to University Health in Shreveport with potentially life threatening injuries. The driver of the Traverse was taken to Willis Knighton-Pierremont. She sustained what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. There were no other occupants in either vehicle.

While police work the scene, all northbound traffic on Barksdale Boulevard is being diverted onto Bellaire Boulevard and all southbound traffic is being detoured onto McDonald Street.

Several minutes before the crash, the driver of the Camry was reportedly involved in a separate non-injury hit and run crash on Barksdale Boulevard at Shady Grove Drive. In that wreck witnesses say the driver of the Camry rear ended another vehicle and drove off. Witnesses were able to get a license plate number which matched that of the Camry.
