[UPDATE]  Six-year-old Matthew Monie has been located unharmed in east Texas.

Over the weekend, investigators were contacted by Upshur County Sheriff's officials who said they'd arrested a man sought in Monie's disappearance.  The boy's father, 45-year-old Matthew Monie, was arrested at a home located in Ore City.  The child was uninjured and was turned over to child welfare officials.

Mr. Monie is charged on an outstanding warrant for interfering with the custody of a child.  He'll be extradited back to Shreveport to face charges.  Detectives say much investigation remains to be done in the case.
