Shreveport police need a little help identifying whoever robbed a cell phone store yesterday evening. Just about 6 o'clock, patrol officers talked with an employee at the Metro PCS store in the 1700 block of Kings Highway, who said a lone male armed with a handgun walked into the business and demanded money. The casher gave the robber an unknown amount of cash and the bandit took off. No one was hurt. Detectives are trying to obtain video surveillance footage from the business. In the meantime, they say the suspect is described as a black male with a slim build, about five-foot-eleven. If you have information that can help in the case, contact detectives or Crime Stoppers.
