Shreveport police are looking for a man who reportedly attacked a woman who had just arrived at her Southern Hills home after work.

Just before 11 p.m. Sunday night, police were called to a home in the 9400 block of Boxwood Drive to a report that a woman had been accosted by a man she'd recently met at a bar where she works. The woman told officers the man followed her home and forced her inside at gunpoint.

While inside, he allegedly hit her in the face and tied her hands with a cable. She managed to hit him with a lamp and he ran off.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5'11" tall and 200 pounds with a muscular build, black hair and green eyes. He was driving a newer-model black Dodge pick-up truck.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373.
