Shreveport Police investigators need help identifying a woman captured on surveillance video, who is accused of robbing an elderly female Thursday afternoon in south Shreveport.

Just after 4 p.m. on February 27, 2014, Shreveport Police were called to the 7000 block of Youree Drive to reports that a 61-year-old woman was maced in the eyes and had her purse stolen by two women who fled the scene in a silver vehicle with temporary plates. The elderly woman was not seriously injured.

After the theft, the duo was spotted in Bossier City attempting to use the victim's stolen credit card at a mall store. Bossier City police arrested one of the women, 18-year-old Alexandria Levy of Shreveport. Levy was later booked into the Bossier City Jail. A second woman fled from officers on foot, successfully evading capture. Evidence and information gathered during the investigation has linked the woman to the crime.

Police hope surveillance images they've released will lead to the identity of the second woman with involvement in the crime. If you have any information that can help, you're asked to contact Caddo Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373 or on the agency's website. Crimes Stoppers is offering a $300 reward for information leading to an arrest.
