Police Looking for Hit-and-Run Suspect

Shreveport police are searching for a vehicle connected with a fatal early-morning hit and run. Shortly after 4 this morning, officers got a report of a person lying on the side of the road in the 1900 block of Clyde Fant Parkway. The man, who appeared to have been hit by a vehicle, was dead when they arrived. Police are working with the Caddo Coroner's Office to verify the man's identity.

Meantime, crash investigators have recovered vehicle parts and pieces from the scene. They believe they came from a silver, newer-model Honda, possibly a Pilot. The car will have damage to the passenger's side headlight, fog light and grill area...and the passenger's-side mirror will be missing.
