Police Investigating String of Nightclub Burglaries

Shreveport police detectives are investigating more than half-a-dozen burglary cases reported since the first of the month at different bars in east Shreveport. The crimes apparently started just after July 1st, and since then, officers have responded to about seven such business burglaries. Nightclubs victimized are located in the 1900 and 3100 blocks of North Market, 1300 block of Centenary, 1300 block of Shreveport-Barksdale Highway, 600 block of E. Kings, and 1000 block of Marshall. The burglaries are similar in nature and detectives believe the same person or people are responsible for all of the break-ins. Investigators have released still photographs of a vehicle they believe is involved in the burglaries.
