Police Investigating Infant’s Injury

A little girl was taken to the hospital late last week...and now, police are investigating how she was injured. Shortly after 3:30 Saturday afternoon, patrol officers were called to LSU Health Shreveport to a report of a one-year-old there suffering from head injuries. According to information given to responding officers, the little girl has a skull fracture, but is expected to recover. Detectives believe the child may have been injured at a home in the 200 block of W. 68th street. No charges have been filed so far, but the investigation is ongoing.
