Man Wounded in Shooting on Tecumseh Now in Jail; Police Searching for Shooter

A man wounded in a shooting last week is now in jail, and police are still looking for the young man who shot him. Shreveport police say 27-year-old De'Angelo Davenport and a friend were walking near the 700 block of Tecumseh Trail when someone he knows approached them from behind. He fired at least two shots during a struggle with Davenport, who suffered a single gunshot wound to the wrist. Investigators have found out Davenport had an outstanding warrant for his arrest through the Caddo Sheriff's Office...so he was arrested. Police are searching for the person who shot him.
