Bossier City police have arrested a woman and three others after the woman’s 3-year-old son brought illegal drugs to the Head Start center he attends.

Officers were called to the Hooter Park Head Start Center in the 1500 block of Hooter Park Drive at approximately 9:30 yesterday morning after the boy pulled a plastic bag containing marijuana out of his pocket and showed it to a teacher shortly after arriving.

The boy also had a plastic bag containing 36 Xanax bars along with a second bag containing marijuana. The total weight of the marijuana was 15 grams.
Patrol officers along with narcotics agents and detectives with the Juvenile Unit went to the boy’s residence in the 400 block of John Wesley Boulevard and made contact with his mother, 22-year old Jennett Ann Flournoy.

An investigation determined the boy had obtained the narcotics at the residence and brought them to the Head Start Center. Police also found a stolen handgun inside the residence along with cigars that are commonly used to make marijuana blunts.
As a result of the investigation, Flournoy was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of Xanax with the intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, child desertion, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, and possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
