Please Fill the Boot!

Bossier City firefighters have an extra mission at the Barksdale Air Show this weekend. They'll be out asking folks attending the show to join them in the fight against neuromuscular disease. It's their annual "Fill the Boot" campaign to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Firefighters will be stationed in front of Barksdale's West Gate and North Gate Saturday and Sunday mornings, hoping motorists will donate money that will go toward funding research, sending children to MDA Summer Camp and purchasing equipment for victims of neuromuscular disease.
