Texas Rangers' starting pitcher Roy Oswalt, was able to strike out six Oakland Athletics batters with his 57 MPH curveball!

Besides that, Oswalt was able to dominate batters just as he did when he was a young pitcher on the rise for the Houston Astros!

After the game Oswalt said, "That's me, that's my game...I'm the same pitcher I've been for the last 12 years."

He had a killer game, sitting down six Athletics' batters, NOT giving up a base on balls, and only allowing 3 hits in 6 1/3 innings of work!

Thankfully to support Oswalt, the offense showed up! In the top of the 3rd inning Elvis Andrus singles to right, sending home Craig Gentry. Making things 1-0.

The very next inning for the Rangers, Adrian Beltre hits a LONGBOMB to deep center field, which in Oakland's ballpark is 100 miles out (not really, just saying)!

Mike Napoli singles to right field to send home Michael Young, after that Craig Gentry hits an infield single to send home Nelson Cruz. After this frame, the Rangers held a 4-0 lead!

Following a homer by Athletics' Josh Reddick in the bottom of the 7th, Josh Hamilton answers back and hits a homer of his own, in the top of the 8th! Now making the score 5-1!

The Rangers hold on, and win 6-1! Roy Oswalt grabs win number 3 on the year!

Tune in tonight at 9:05 as the Rangers attempt to get back to back wins in Oakland!
