Another production delay for Elio Motors.

CEO Paul Elio tells KEEL News he's pushing back production until 2016, but does not want to give a specific date. Elio has raised more than $65 million in capital so far, but he needs $230 million more to begin production. He's also applied for a federal loan of more than 180 million. That loan is currently being processed.
We had a chance to chat with Elio this morning about the plan to build the 3-wheeled car at the old GM Plant.

Elio is still taking advanced orders for the car. It costs $100 and Elio's gotten more than 38,000 reservations so far.
