Parkway’s Carson Baranik Having Fun in His Role with the Ragin’ Cajuns of ULL [VIDEO]

Parkway High School Alum Carson Baranik is headed into his senior season of college baseball with quite a run by the University of Louisiana Lafayette.

But the  6-foot-3, 215-pound right-handed pitcher has an opportunity to play in the majors. He was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers with the 999th overall pick in the 33rd round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft.

It's clear he's having a little fun this year. Check out this video of his dancing in the bullpen during one of his games in Lafayette this week:

Carson earned All-State, All-District and All-City honors during his career as a top pitcher in the state at Parkway High, Baranik was selected in the 41st round of the 2011 MLB Draft by the Cincinnati Reds.

Instead of starting his professional career, Baranik went to Miami Dade College and helped lead the Sharks to the Southern Conference championship with his team-high 59 strikeouts. He also earned first-team All-Southern Conference honors in the process. 

With the Ragin' Cajuns, Baranik has an ERA of 3.27, 70 strikeouts and is 11-2 this season.
