Police detectives are looking for answers in a late-night stabbing in Shreveport.

Just after 11:30 p.m., patrol officers were called to University Health, where 26-year-old Shundra Lewis was being treated for a stab wound to the chest. She's listed in serious condition, but is expected to improve.

We're hearing the stabbing happened in or near Riverside Warehouse in downtown Shreveport, but that hasn't been confirmed. Police have been unable to talk with Lewis about what happened, so they're asking for the public's help.

If you have information about this crime, you're asked to call Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
