It's been a busy night for area firefighters.Shreveport firefighters were called to the 58-hundred block of Grantham Street just after 12:30 this morning. When they got there, they found a one-story wood-frame house engulfed in flames. It took about 25 minutes to bring it under control. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The house was not occupied at the time and all of the utilities had been disconnected

A few hours earlier -- long about 8 o'clock -- firefighters were called to the 31-hundred block of Pines Road. There, they found a motor home on fire. It took just a few minutes to bring that one under control. The motor home was occupied by one person, who was able to get out without injury. Cause of the fire has been determined to be electrical. The fire also caused minor damage to a house next to the motor home.

Caddo Fire District-One firefighters were also busy overnight -- with a house fire on Roy Road. Matter of fact, they got a double-dose of that one. After extinguishing the original fire and returning to the station, they were called back to the same location just before 5 o'clock when the fire re-kindled.
