One Red River Lock and Dam Closed

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Vicksburg District has temporarily closed the Lindy C. Boggs Lock and Dam for repairs. That’s the southernmost Lock and Dam — Number-One — so, technically, you could navigate from here to there on the J. B ennett Johnston Waterway but not through there. The Lock and Dam complex is expected to remain closed until Friday, April 20th.
