A morning wreck on Hwy. 1 in Vivian leaves one person dead and several others injured. 

Caddo sheriff's deputies say at around 6:45, a southbound Mercury Marquis and a northbound Chevy Trailblazer collided at Trees City Road.  The Mercury continued on, and was hit by a northbound Ford F-150.  The driver of the Chevy, 39-year-old Keshia Claiborne-Ashley of Shreveport, and the Ford's driver, 30-year-old Mark Ross of Mooringsport, were taken to Willis-Knighton Bossier for treatment.

The Mercury's passenger died at the scene.  The driver is listed in critical condition at University Health.  Their names are being withheld until family can be notified.  The crash remains under investigation.
