Something new at the OMV.  Motor Vehicle Offices across the state have installed devices that allow citizens to pay their fees with debit cards, credit cards, and e-checks.  

It's seen as a convenience and a way to speed things up.  According to the OMV, it's now functional in all motor vehicle offices across the state.

But it's not free.  There's a convenience fee of $1.25 plus 1% of the total charge on all debit and credit card transactions and a flat $1.00 convenience fee on all e-checks.-
