Will Alabama football coach Nick Saban return to the NFL, this time as coach of the New York Jets? Absolutely, at least if the New York Post has anything to say about it.

Tuesday morning that NY daily ran the headline, 'Pick Nick!', followed by an endorsement of the Bama boss as a replacement for the just fired Rex Ryan.

The Jets finished this season at 4-12 and were 46-50 during Ryan's six tears at the helm.

But, for the time being at least, Saban isn't having any of it. In New Orleans for his team's CFP game against Ohio State on New Year's Day, he told reporters, 'Let's start with the fact that I'm not really interested in any situation in the NFL.'

'We're extremely happy being a college coach and and what we've been able to do as a college coach and the challenges we have in trying to continue to do it.'

Saban currently makes $6.9 million a year on a contact that runs through 2021. He previously coach in the NFL in 2005-06, leading Miami to a 15-17 record.
