Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser has once again blasted New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu over his plan - and implementation - to remove a number of historical monuments honoring Confederate Civil War heroes.

Nungesser tells KEEL listeners that, in his opinion, the Mayor is stonewalling efforts to reach a compromise solution between his city and the state and that Landrieu's actions are politically motivated, that "it's all about him wanting to go somewhere after Mayor," perhaps says Nungesser, even a run for President.
