A Haughton man faces numerous charges after a Bossier Sheriff's deputy was called to investigate a suspicious vehicle parked across the street from a residence. On the way to the 14000 block of Highway 157, the deputy was advised that the Ford F-150 -- supposedly with a headlight out -- was driving south on 157. The deputy pulled it over just south of Bellevue Road. 46-year-old Jackie Murray gave the deputy a false name, and was arrested for driving under suspension. But that wasn't all...he also didn't have any proof of insurance, and an expired inspection sticker. Inside the truck was an open container of beer, a bag with two glass smoking pipes and a clear plastic bag containing meth. During their investigation, deputies talked with Murray's ex-girlfriend, who said Murray's been stalking her for quite some time. He's now in Bossier Max awaiting bond.
