NSU Head Coach Bradley Peveto Talks ‘NSU Challenge’ – Northwestern State vs. Nicholls State
Northestern State is 3-4 on the season with a 1-2 record in the Southland Conference. After being hit hard by injuries in their loss to Southeastern before the bye week, the NSU Demons are rested and ready to face NSU… that being Nicholls State University. You may not know this, but…There is a nice rivalry between the schools. The two student body governments agreed to have a rivalry trophy and call it the NSU Challenge. The Demons have had the trophy for the last two years.
I caught up with Coach Peveto at the NSU Quarterback Luncheon to ask him about the rivalry and where the team is at after suffering some critical injuries in their last game.
