Now the City Council has approved his nomination to hold the post on a full-time basis. Likewise, the council has confirmed Charles Madden to be the full-time Finance Director.
The Council has also approved replacing four of the five members of the Shreveport Airport Authority. The nominations were made by Mayor Cedric Glover several months ago, but then tabled by the previous Council. City Attorney Terri Scott has assured the new Council that the confirmed nominees will serve staggered terms. The Council has also approved two nominees to the Caddo-Bossier Port Commission.
in other action, the Council has approved Tracey Graham to be the city's first Energy Efficient Program Manager and it's approved five members of the city's first Comprehensive Environmental Board of Appeals.
