Hall of Famer Deion Sanders is said to have run the fastest: 4.21 seconds. This week at the NFL Scouting Combine soon-to-be rookie Jameis Winston ran a sluggish 4.9. But how fast could a man off the street run a 40 yard dash? And not jut any man off the street, but the Commissioner of the National Football League?

Well that's what league boss Roger Goodell did earlier last week. He took his shot at the distance at which all players are measured. Goodell did his 40 yarder for charity, specifically, St. Jude's Hospitals. Raise money he did - and a good amount at that. But, as the saying goes, don't give up your day job.
