New Immigration Reform Efforts in Washington

There is renewed interest in Congress in taking up immigration reform legislation.  It would feature a plan that includes a path to citizenship for roughly 11 million illegal immigrants currently living in the United States.  However, there is also an effort to include tighter border security as part of the reform legislation.  Does this sound like a good plan?
