New Mudbugs hockey coach Jason "Soupy" Campbell talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about his plans to continue the team's tradition of excellence, the coming season and the 2018 team.

Campbell tells KEEL listeners that continuing the Mudbugs winning tradition "is all about culture." "We try to build a culture of players that are great young men and their character is second to none," the new coach says, "They're willing to do whatever it takes....on the ice and in the community.. It's less about me and more about we."

Soupy addresses the fact that a number of members from last year's squad have moved on, but having a championship trophy goes a long way in attracting new and talented players. "We had about two hundred kids in Michigan a couple weeks ago...and we picked thirty five from there. Players want to be a part of something good They know guys have been developing here. They've heard about the Mudbugs and the Mudbugs way."
