New Crimefighting App

A newly-launched free Apple iPhone application is expected to make solving and preventing crimes easier…by enabling users to safely report their tips to local law enforcement agencies.  Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers Coordinator Jim Taliaferro says one of the neatest things about the app is the GPS feature.  If, for example, you take a photo of a stolen vehicle — but don’t know the address where it’s located — you can send the GPS coordinates, and your local law enforcement agency will find it for you.

You can download the free app at http://tipsubmit.com.
