New Camping World Location Opening in Bossier City

Now that Camping World is the title sponsor of our Independence Bowl, it's only fitting that the company is opening a new store here in the area.

Don't let the name fool you -- Camping World of Shreveport is actually located in Bossier City, at 3625 Industrial Drive, near I-20. But this isn't the only Camping World in Louisiana.

"The Shreveport location is our second SuperCenter in the state of Louisiana and we have seen a great response to the opening of this location, that will offer one-stopping for all of our customers' outdoor and RV needs," said Marcus Lemonis, CEO and Chairman of Camping World and Good Sam, the host of CNBC's The Profit. "We're very excited to continue expanding our RV dealer network across the country while supporting economic growth in these new markets."

The new location will host a grand opening celebration that begins Monday, April 18, and runs through Saturday, April 30. It'll feature plenty of grand opening price specials. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, with light refreshments provided.

Free lunch will be offered Saturdays during the grand opening event -- April 23 and 30 -- from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
