New Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington Already Makes Cuts

Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington is hitting the ground running. He's cutting out many of the pay raises handed out to high ranking deputies during Larry Deen's last days in office.

Many of the cuts will impact deputies who decided to retire or those who were not rehired by the new sheriff.

The cuts will save the parish nearly 1 and a half million dollars.
