The Bossier City Fire Department responded to a house fire this afternoon in the 2900 block of Jeston Circle.  A neighbor called 911 at approximatley 2:48 p.m upon seeing smoke coming from the house.The first engine company arrived on the scene within three minutes and found fire coming from a front window of the structure.  Firefighters had the fire under control within 10 minutes and managed to keep it contained to the home's living room where it appears the fire orginated.

The fire caused heavy to moderate damage to the house.  The occupants were not at home at the time of the fire.  There were no reported injuries.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
