At a Town Hall Meeting Thursday evening, the Louisiana Army National Guard released a schedule for the destruction of the Clean Burning Igniter at Camp Minden. This is the same material that caused the explosive incident a few weeks ago.

The National Guard says the controlled detonations will involve 3 different bunkers containing 3 different bunkers containing over 200 thousand pounds of CBI. A special team from Fort Polk will be carrying out the operation. They say the detonations will not be harmful to residents in the area and someone from the EPA will be monitoring the air quality in the area.
