Murder Mystery Is Coming to Shreveport Library
I was tinkering around the Broadmoor Library this week and heard one of the staff members on the phone with a patron. She was telling them about a murder mystery bake off that was coming to the library next month.
I had to find out about this. After doing a little digging, I found that this cool event is set for Saturday April 21st. It is a murder mystery/bake off event.
Here's how the library is billing the event:
You are invited inside the tent at Shibben Manor to help solve the murder of Quentin Montjoy, a contestant on the Great British Bake Off, who mysteriously died in the middle of the Showstopper bake. This event is based on the hit BBC & PBS show.
Participants will get to taste some delicious desserts and witness dastardly deeds during a visit to the library.
The program is for ages 18 and up, and you do need to register in advance. Contact the Broadmoor branch at 318-869-0120 to get details or get signed up for this fun event.
Again, the event is Saturday, April 21st at 3pm and it's booking up fast. The Broadmoor Library is at 1212 Captain Shreve Drive.
