[UPDATE] Police Identify Bike Rider in Fatal Bossier City Motorcycle Crash

Police have identified the man who died in a motorcycle accident as 37-year-old Dennis Hyatt of Shreveport.

[Original Story] Bossier City police are investigating an overnight fatal crash involving a motorcycle.

Police were called to I-220 at I-20 just before 12:30 this morning after a passing motorist noticed a man lying on the ground near a motorcycle.

Police say it appears the biker had just exited westbound onto I-220 from I-20 and lost control, causing the motorcycle to crash into a construction sign. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim's name hasn't been released.
