Where Is the Most Expensive Home in Louisiana and How Much Does It Cost?

Louisiana has its share of beautiful homes, but where is the most expensive property in the Sportsman's Paradise located?

Business Insider researched various realty websites, including Sotheby's International Realty and Zillow, to compile a comprehensive list of the most expensive houses for sale in each state.

The priciest homes in the US list features a Slidell, La. property selling for $5.46 million. From least expensive to most expensive, the home ranks no. 44 on the overall list.
