More Flooding Expected This Week

The water is on the way.  St. Landry Parish Officials say Krotz Springs will be hit with high water after flooding hits Butte LaRose.  Residents around Butte LaRose in the path of the water are encouraged to evacuate. 

The flood map by the Army Corp of Engineer’s shows Krotz Springs getting ten to fifteen feet of water.  Hunting Camps have already flooded near Krotz Springs and U.S. 190.  The highway is still open at this time.
