More Charges Filed Against Shantel Flash

A local woman accused of a multi-state crime wave and believed to be responsible for at least two residential burglaries here in Shreveport has been charged with another count of illegal possession of stolen things.

This afternoon detectives obtained an arrest warrant charging 40 year old Shantel Flash, of the 12000 block of Ashland Way in Shreveport, with one count of illegal possession of stolen things.  The bond on the warrant is set at $100,000. This particular charge stems from a residential burglary that occurred last July in the 500 block of Elmwood Street. Items stolen in that break in were discovered in Flash’s home when investigators served a search warrant there on August 15, 2011.  Flash is currently in custody at the Caddo Correctional Center.
