It took a lot of manpower this morning to bring a fire under control in the 100 block of Moor in southeast Shreveport. Fire Department Spokesman Fred Sanders says the call came in a couple of minutes after 8:00, and the first units were on the scene roughly five minutes later. He says it took less than 30 minutes to extinguish the fire. No people were injured; however, four pets died in the blaze. The fire damaged 50 % of the home and two cars. Investigators say its cause is still under investigation, but they know it originated near the carport area.
