A man wanted for murder in Monroe has been taken off the streets in Bossier City.

The US Marshal's Violent Offenders Task Force, Louisiana State Probation and Parole, and Bossier City Police have teamed up to capture 28-year-old Eldrick Dontrail Carter of Monroe.  He was located at a house in the 21-hundred block of Scott Street and taken into custody without incident.

Carter was wanted on warrants charging him with one count of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted second-degree murder. He'd been on the run since a Father's Day shooting in Monroe that left one person dead and two others wounded.
