Miss Teen USA Cassidy Wolf Recognized Stalker as Former Classmate
Miss Teen USA Cassidy Wolf knew the man who was arrested for taking video of her and other women using their own webcams.
Jared James Abrahams is accused of hijacking Wolf's webcam and planning to use the footage he captured to blackmail the Miss Teen USA competitor.
Wolf recognized Abrahams after his name and photo were released by authorities.
"It's weird for me to be able to put a face to the person who did this to me, and that it was a person I went to high school with," Wolf said on NBC's "Today."
Wolf added that she was never friends with Abrahams, but remembered his name and knew who he was by passing him in the hallways in high school.
"I don't think he realizes the consequences that he's done and the people that he hurt," she added. "He terrorized me and many girls for so long."
Abrahams is a computer science student from Temecula, California and accused of taking nude pictures of Wolf changing clothes and walking back into her room after taking showers. She was never aware the camera on her computer was working because the light never came on.
