Caddo-Shreveport narcotics agents found more than they expected when they went to a house on Crouch Dam Road in north Caddo Parish.

They went there to arrest a man on a bench warrant for missing his misdemeanor marijuana trial the day before.  What they found was five meth labs, a small amount of methamphetamine, a rifle, and chemicals used to manufacture meth.

45-year-old Richard Burroughs, Junior, and his 42-year-old neighbor, Jerry Oliver, Junior have both been arrested and booked on two counts of manufacturing methamphetamine. Burroughs is also charged with one count of possessing methamphetamine and Oliver with one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Agents say they had originally gone to the house to arrest Burroughs' son, Tatum.  He was not there at the time and agents say he won't be charged in connection with the meth labs.
