State Senator John Milkovich talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about his anti-abortion bill, which was passed the Senate Thursday by a vote of 31-3 with 5 abstentions.

The Milkovich bill, SB 181, which "prohibits abortions later than fifteen weeks after conception," now, "goes to the full House and we hope that it gets passed and, actually, we'll be praying." Milkovich also says that he anticipates a lawsuit challenging by "the abortion cartel," challenging the bills legality. He admits that his bill is similar to one recently passed in Mississippi, which has been put "on-hold" by a federal court.

"Our fight for life needs to cross racial lines, political party lines," Milkovich emphatically says, "We should all be united in this. We want to stop all abortions."
