Meet the New KEEL Morning Show, Featuring Robert J. Wright and Erin McCarty

Starting Monday, March 24, Robert J. Wright and Erin McCarty are taking over as 710 KEEL's new morning show.

The former hosts of Townsquare Media Shreveport's Robert and Erin morning show, broadcast each weekday morning on 96.5 KVKI, will bring a new style to the station's popular morning show, including a bigger focus on live in-studio interviews, events and the local news that matters to you.

We invite everyone to listen on the air or online to the KEEL Morning Show with Robert and Erin from 6 to 9 a.m. each weekday morning, as well as give us feedback on Facebook and Twitter.

Robert J. Wright

I was born in the little east Texas town of Palestine. Before moving to Shreveport, I lived in cities all over the South -- sort of a preparation for my broadcasting career. I arrived in Shreveport in 1996 and teamed up with Erin McCarty on the old 'Big Dog 94.5' before moving one door down the hall to 96.5 KVKI in 2003. And now, we've made another big move to 710 KEEL.

Erin McCarty

I've been in radio in Shreveport for nearly 30 years. I'm now half of the morning team on KEEL with Robert J. Wright. I have two sons, one of whom is in the Marines, and a dog named Tiger. I'm originally from Baton Rouge and get down there as often as I can to visit my Mom and take in an LSU game.
