Shreveport Mayor Adrian Perkins talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about his first few days in office, appointments to be announced, increased police patrols and early plans to market the city to employers across the country.

Perkins explains to KEEL listeners that recent citizen complaints about New Year's Eve trash pick up are being taken care of: "(The) holiday schedule got us behind a little bit, but everything today...regular schedule has resumed. We'll be working around the clock to get caught up with everyone."
