Vote on the Paint Color

You still have time to vote on the paint color for the Jimmie Davis Bridge.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development launched the "Pick the Paint," campaign on March 7th. This gives the public a chance to select the new paint color for the Jimmie Davis Bridge. The deadline to get your vote in is May 2nd. Thousands of people have voted and purple is still in the lead. This is all part of a project to ehabilitate the Jimmie Davis Bridge. The project is scheduled to go to bid this fall. More than 6,000 votes have been cast. Here's how the voting is going so far:

31% for purple

26% for blue

13% for red
