Masters Winner Bubba Watson’s $500,000 Watch

Bubba Watson won his second Masters championship earlier today, a two shot victory over Jordan Spieth and Jonas Blixt. And once again Watson was wearing on his wrist a custom timepiece from Swiss watchmaker Richard Mille, worth a half a million dollars!

Bubba's watch is a Richard Mille RM038 built expressly for him (Mille has also built a custom piece for tennis star Rafael Nadal). The RM038 is made of magnesium alloy and features a hand wound mechanical movement designed to counter-act the G forces that are common with a golfer's swing.  It is this that allows Bubba to wear the watch on the course.  The watch is of course a limited edition and, when introduced in 2011, has  price tag of $525,000.
