Another day, another huge sinkhole collapses part of a New Orleans street. The day after heavy rains caused the collapse of part of Constantinople Street, on Friday it was Canal Street, NOLA's busiest downtown thoroughfare that gave way.

On Friday, a section of pavement about twenty feet across was swallowed into a hole estimated to be more than twenty feet deep. More downpours are expected to soak the Crescent City through Saturday.
